The Enterprise Editions of NutriBase are multi-user, network-aware versions of NutriBase Professional. To use these editions of NutriBase, you will need a server and a local area network (LAN). You will be able to access NutriBase from any PC connected to your LAN.

NutriBase Enterpirse Editions require Windows OS version 5.1 or higher. This means that NutriBase requires Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Server 2008 R2. The NutriBase Enterprise Editions are not designed to run (and wil not run) on terminal servers or virtual machines.

The Enterprise editions of NutriBase support multiple users. The 5-Node Enterprise Edition will permit up to 5 simultaneous users to access the NutriBase software. Theis version is popular in hospitals, health clubs, and small offices.

The 50-Node Enterprise Edition handles up to 50 simultaneous users and is popular in eductional facilities. You can provide passwords to as many users as you wish... the only limitation is that only 5 users can use the software at the save time.

With the NutriBase Enterprise Editions, all users can share the information that they are working with. If one user creates a dozen meal plans, logs on 100 new clients, and adds a dozen recipes, all the users can have instant access to these resources (if you allow it). All data is stored in one database (on your server) rather than in separate databases on separate machines... you won't have to search for a recipe by hopping from PC to PC as you might have to if you were using several single-user versions on separate PC's.

Enterprise Access Levels - NutriBase Enterprise Edition lets you specify the "Access Level" for the users of the system. You can set the access for each user separately, if desired. The Enterprise Edition supports three access levels:

Full Restrictions: users can view, modify, and delete only the work they've created. In this mode, the "Master User" has total access to all recipes, meal plans, client information, etc. Other users can access the recipes, intakes, meal plans, etc, that they themselves have created, but they can't see any other user's work. This mode may be suitable for an educational setting when the instructor (the "Master User" in this case) doesn't want individual students to see what other students are doing.

Partial Access: all users can view what others have done, but can only modify or delete their own work. With this mode, the Master User has total access to all recipes, meal plans, client information, etc. Other users can access the recipes, intakes, meal plans, etc, that they themselves have created, but they can also view any other user's work. This mode may be useful in an educational setting when the instructor want's individual students to see what other students have done and to use this information for improving their own work. This mode may also be useful in a hospital or clinical setting where individual professionals are able to edit and modify their own work but not the work of their co-workers.

Full Access: all users can view, modify, or delete each other's work. With this mode, all users have complete access to every one else's work. This mode may not be suitable for an educational setting. It may, however, be suitable in a professional setting where all users share their recipes, meal plans, client information, and other work.

Master User - Every Enterprise Edition installation has a "Master User" who has total unrestricted access to everything NutriBase can do. The Master User can edit anyone's work and can modify or delete any client information, recipes, meal plans, intakes, etc. The Master User has the ability to "Archive" and "Clear" all work (Personal Food Items, Recipe, Meal Plans, Client Information, etc.) created in NutriBase.

The Enterprise Editions are also available in SE versions that are similar to the Professional SE Edition. The Enterprise SE version is basically a Enterprise Edition with support for a web-bsed questionnaire.
