NutriBase supports the generation of professional Nutrition Facts Labels. To generate a Nutrition Facts Label, create a recipe (or open an existing recipe), then click the Label Button. That's all there is to it.

You can generate Nutrition Facts Labels from the single-item view of USDA data, from recipes, meals, or Personal Food Items (PFI's). To do so, just view the item of interest, then click the Label Button.

After you've generated a Nutrition Facts Label, you can resize the window that displays the label. Generally, the larger the window, the more accurately the label will be portrayed.

To change label formats, click the down arrow in the menu box at the top of the screen. You will be given a list of many label formats. Just click on the format you want to use.

Each label format you can select from is represented by a small template file that gives NutriBase the instructions for creating that particular Nutrition Facts Label. There is no limit to the number of these template files we can accommodate. They reside in a folder on your hard drive and the menu name coincides with the filename.

NutriBase will merge your ingredients into your label for you automatically. Just check the Ingredients check box and NutriBase will flow your ingredients into your label, sorted from high to low based on the gram weight of the ingredients.

And if you need to mass produce labels, you'll want to be able to save the label as an image. Click the Image Button to save the Nutrition Facts Label as a BMP file or as a JPG file. BMP files are document-friendly and are suitable for use in documents or label files. The JPG format is suitable for use on your web site page.
