| To conduct a food name or brand name search, type in your search string. If you wish to conduct a food name search, the Food Name Search option is already selected for you. If you wish to conduct a brand name search, click the "Brand Name Search" radio button. These searches will locate every food name or brand name that contains all the words (in any order) in the search string you specified. After you conduct a food name or brand name search, NutriBase will produce a "Hit List" of all the NutriBase Food Categories that contain the search string you entered. Select a food group from the Hit List. NutriBase will display all the food items in the selected group that contain your search string. Closing the nutrient display screen takes you back to the Hit List so you can display other Food Categories. (If there is only one food category that contains your specified search string, NutriBase will take you right to the nutrient data.) |
