When you are in the HOME or LOG window, there will be an Add Button (+) in the upper right corner of your window.

One way is to take the foods you have already logged as a Meal or Snack and add them into a new Meal you want to create.

This can save you the time it takes to look up all the foods in this Meal since you've already done this work. Here's how to create a Meal from a meal you've already logged today.

This example assumes you have already recorded the foods you ate for a meal or snack in your log.

When you are in the HOME or LOG window, there will be an Add Button (+) in the upper right corner of you window. Tap it.

To log food items or exercise, tap the “Add” Icon (it looks like a plus sign). When you tap this icon, you’ll see this “Add to Log” window with these options:

Tap the Info Tab to enter your body weight or to enter diabetic information:

Here are your MORE options:

Tap the MORE Tab to adjust the time you ate a particular meal or snack and to combine the food items in your log into a “Meal.” You can save this Meal to save time when reused in the future. By saving this group of foods as a Meal, you avoid having to assemble these food items again.

Change Current Log Day Meal Times - Click the Change Current Log Day Meal Times to make a change from your default values. Your meals and snacks are normally stored as haven been eaten at the default times stored in the SETTINGS section of Tracker. This lets you record the fact that you had a late lunch, for example.

Add Current Log Day Foods to a Meal - When you Add Current Log Day Foods to a Meal, you are able to take foods you have logged and save them as a Meal. You give the Meal you want to create a name, then you select which meal or snack's foods you want to add to this new Meal. It will be saved for you. The next time you eat this combination of foods, you can save time by just recording the Meal you created. You can also edit this Meal and add your insulin that you take when you eat it (assuming you are diabetic).

The Status Bar is the colored bar located directly below the Tabs. The color of this bar indicates the status of your Logged Calories:

Normal so far. When the Status Bar is green, it indicates that you have recorded somewhere between zero and 74.99% of your DCA (Daily Calorie Allotment).

Warning. When the Status Bar is yellow , it indicates that you have recorded somewhere between zero and 75% and 99.99% of your DCA. This is your warning to think carefully about your remaining food choices to avoid exceeding your DCA.

Stop Eating! Exercise! When the Status Bar is red, it indicates that you have recorded 100% or more of your DCA. You can get your status back down into the Yellow zone if you are able to burn enough calories (through activities or exercise) to bring your net calories back down below your DCA.

Exercise calories are subtracted from your food calories for the day. Exercising allows you to eat more food on this day or to create a larger calorie deficit by day’s end. (Calorie deficits are what cause your body weight to decrease.)
